Heartland Health — Team Heartland — was selected as one of Modern Healthcare’s Best Places to Work in Healthcare for 2011. Out of more than 327 organizations that applied for consideration, Heartland was selected among the 100 best. On August 22, the list of all 100 of The Best Places to Work in Healthcare was published on the magazine’s web site at www.modernhealthcare.com where you will also find a video discussing this prestigious award.
Specific rankings will be announced on Tuesday, October 18, 2011, at a special award presentation in Chicago, IL. The Best Places to Work in Healthcare program collects information from both the employer and employees and is open to all companies (providers, suppliers and payers) with at least 25 employees. Heartland completed a survey detailing:
